Smart Artist Management has worked on and off in the music industry with musicians & creatives for over 10 years, starting out as a gig booker and band manager for a few local Melbourne bands.
Smart Artist Management’s experience in the arts community ranges from assisting with the organisation of the Northcote High Noon Festival, to running events and organising gigs and tours. SAM has also worked for two prolific arts/entertainment-based accounting firms in Melbourne.
What has grown from those early days and through 20 years of business administration is a greater depth of knowledge and experience within the music community. Smart Artist Management’s ultimate goal is to help musicians & creatives set themselves up as a business so that they can reap the benefits of proper management, tax deductions, APRA/AMCOS reporting, administration and day to day running of their profession.

SAM has also worked closely with therapists and alternative practitioners over the last few years. Working as a virtual assistant for a renowned Australian Sex & Relationships therapist has created a greater understanding of the therapy industry and what their needs are when it comes to running a business.
